Head of Investigations, Digital Forensics and Prevent Programme
Tony Adams is a senior manager within the National Crime Agency and has a policing background of over 29 years, the vast majority of this as a detective. The last 20 years has been spent investigating National and International serious organised crime. This has ranged from organised drug, people and firearms trafficking criminality, through to the management of threat to life operations anywhere in the world, which impact upon NCA equities.
Tony’s previous role was head of the NCA’s covert firearms capability and aerial surveillance unit. For the past 3 years he has occupied the position of Head of Investigations, Digital Forensics and Prevent, for the National Cyber Crime Unit. He has responsibility for senior management of his investigation teams for reported offences that occur of cyber dependent crime , impacting on United Kingdom critical national infrastructure and cyber activity against the business sector at the highest level.
Tony has recently been awarded a MSC with distinction in Cybercrime Investigations through the University of Central Lancashire
